3/22/2011 - Brooklyn Park Mayoral Special Election Endorsement Convention

A special Brooklyn Park city-wide endorsing convention was held at the Brooklyn Park City Hall in the City Council chambers for the consideration of endorsement by the Republican Party of Minnesota for the upcoming special election.  A total of four candidates asked the body to be considered for the endorsement (in alphabetical order); Billy Bishop, Jim Krautkremer, Jeffrey Lunde, and Tony Pistilli. 
Congratulations to Jeffrey Lunde as the endorsed candidate for Brooklyn Park's next mayor!

3/1/2011 - BPOU Convention - Cross of Glory Lutheran Church

The new Executive Committee for 2011-2013 is as follows: Cory Jensen - CoChair, Todd Peterson - CoChair, John Johannson - Vice Chair, Rob Marvin - Vice Chair, Dick Taylor - Vice Chair,  James Turnham - Vice Chair, Dave Johnson - Treasury, and Randy Christensen - Secretary.  In addition, Chuck Sutphen - Constitution Committee Chair, Tim Olson - Search Committee Chair were elected at the convention.
